British car parts company adds small but crucial items to catalog

Often when doing a restoration or just keeping your vintage ride looking presentable, it’s the all-important small parts that often are the hardest to source.

British Motor Heritage, which since 1975 has supported collectors of popular vehicles from the UK by manufacturing genuine components, has announced the addition of a couple of minor but crucial additions to its catalog.

“As part of a dramatic revamping of its range of replacement parts for Austin, Austin Healey, MG, Morris and Triumph vehicles of the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s, British Motor Heritage (BMH) has now added the following pair of small but worthy items to its ever-growing stock – an MG Midget grille badge plinth, and gear-lever knob that’s applicable to a number of Triumph models from the Herald to the TR6,” the company says its announcement.

The MG plinth, which holds the brand logo in a chrome housing, is applicable to 1961 through 1969 Midget models.

The gear-lever knob for the various Triumph was originally designed for the BMC J4 van but serves as an appropriate universal fit for the sporty cars.

BMH distributes its parts internationally.  For these and other British car parts, visit the BMH website.
